I walked to the hotel from Glasgow Queen Street Station and was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and welcoming the building itself looked. But from the moment I stepped in, I was met with again, the warmest of welcomes, genuine warmth and recognition by Erin and Felix. They spoke with me, not at me, checked me in smoothly and gave me a heap of information in a relaxed manner, I didn't feel bombarded, I felt relaxed too. Then, when I found my room and walked in, just wow, the decor, the furnishings, the facilities, down to the refreshments, top class and again, my favourite word for this stay and experience, comfortable with comfort beyond comfort. Also, later in the evening when I went out I met Colm the Duty Manager, lovely again and attentive as per his colleagues. l would also like to mention Ivana, who greeted me when I came back from my day out last night and helped check me out today. Once again, a lovely warm and engaging person, just like Erin, Felix and Colm. Thank you all.

The very friendly staff. Before we even went through the door the concergie who was on his way home took my case into reception. Welcomed us and introduced us to the reception staff.! He had finished working for the day and could have just walked past us. Amazing customer service. Reception staff were always smiling, friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff too. My husband says the shower in our room was one of the best hotel showers he has been in for a long time. Very roomy. No banging elbows and decent pressure. Location was perfect for us too as we were visiting xmas markets and shopping. We have already recommended to our friends and family.

I have stayed in quite a few IHG hotels and all have been fantastic but this is the next level!! From check-in to check-out it was absolutely amazing. Ivana on reception is one of the nicest, professional and friendly ladies I have ever met and she is worth her weight in gold. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the overall decor was stunning. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice on the continental front and then your choice from the menu was also included and the food was hot, delicious and in plentiful. This is the only hotel I’d now stay at in Glasgow.

The Hotel Indigo in Glasgow was perfectly situated for us. The express bus from Glasgow airport dropped us off a block from the hotel and navigating our way from the hotel to the city entre was very easy. The front desk concierge was so helpful and gave us great tips on taking in the many sites of Glasgow. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The Sunday breakfast was well stocked with a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, espresso machine coffee, fruit juices and cold meats and cheeses. On Monday we also had a hot breakfast of poached eggs and avocado toast.

The hotel is well-placed in the city, being close to the central railway station and the motorway, depending on how you are travelling. Our three night stay was marked by being in a hotel with a classy feel, big rooms with plenty of space and helpful, friendly staff in all areas. A number of the places that we wanted to see in Glasgow were within easy walking distance, but others were a short taxi ride away. There is a lot to be positive about at the Indigo, and nothing to find fault with.
